Lake District Print - Buttermere Valley and The Haystacks
Share
Since creating my my first ever travel print, the Lake District was right up there on my 'To Do' list. Before starting any new artwork I always begin by researching and exploring the area first to find best viewpoint to capture the natural landscape and all it has to offer. The Lake District fortunately has any number of vistas to choose from including Monk Coniston, Queen Adelaide’s Hill, Millerground (Windermere), Claife Viewing Station (Windermere), Friar’s Crag (Keswick), Surprise View (Derwentwater), Whinlatter Pass, Crow Park (Keswick), Glencoyne (Ullswater) and Kirkstone Pass. For my artwork of the Lake District I settled on the Haystacks overlooking Buttermere Valley, I felt this viewpoint from the mountains encapsulated everything the Lake District had to offer with high peaks, rugged mountains, sweeping valleys, streams and of course the lakes.
Since launching the Lake District print it has proven hugely popular amongst hikers, walkers and people who just want a little reminder of the beautiful Lake District. Various print sizes now available A4, A3, A2, A1. View Lake District Prints
